Mis Manitos Child Care is a Spanish immersion home-based program located in Rockville, Maryland, serving families in Rockville, Aspen Hill, Silver Spring and surrounding areas. We provide a warm, nurturing, and play-based learning environment for children from infancy through preschool. Our mixed-age classroom encourages independence, leadership, and social development while children learn Spanish naturally through songs, stories, routines, and daily conversations. Our goal is to help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally while preparing them for kindergarten in a educational and safe environment.

Spanish Immersion
Children learn Spanish naturally through immersion, just like they learn their first language. We use songs, books, daily routines, conversation, and play to help children understand and speak Spanish in a natural and stress-free environment. Even children who do not speak Spanish at home quickly begin to understand and communicate.
Our Learning Approach
Our program is play-based and child-centered. We believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration, creativity, and meaningful interactions. Our curriculum focuses on the whole child, including social-emotional development, language, early math and literacy, fine and gross motor skills, art, music, and practical life skills.
